About Cloud Architect

Cloud Architects are Information Technology (IT) professionals who is responsible for deploying overseeing a company’s cloud computing strategy. This includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) Cloud

VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) is the highest level of certification offered by VMware. The VCDX Program allows candidates to validate enterprise-class skills in VMware Solution design and implementation.

VCDX-Cloud requires enterprise-class vSphere and data center virtualization skills but the focus is on adding the VMware vCloud Suite, building out the software-defined-data center, and delivering Infrastructure-as-a-Service with comprehensive management and security

VMware Certified Advanced Professional – Cloud Infrastructure Design (VCAP-CID)

VCAP-CID certification verifies that you can define goals for your cloud infrastructure architecture, analyze elements of the framework, and make design decisions that ensure the proper physical and virtual components exist in the design. Achieving VCAP-CID status shows that you have skills with Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Design, Security and Availability Design, Extended Cloud Design, Metering and Compliance, and vApp Design

HPE ASE – Data Center and Cloud Architect V3

This certification validates that you can identify, describe, position, demonstrate and design data center solutions based on HPE CloudSystem and HPE Helion solutions. You will verify you can design best fit solutions based on identified customer needs, the associated ROI/TCO, and customer’s current IT infrastructure maturity level and that you have the skills needed to help lead the transformation of data centers from rigid, siloed architectures to adaptive, hybrid IT.

IBM Certified Solution Architect – Cloud Computing Infrastructure

An IBM Certified Solution Architect – Cloud Computing Infrastructure V1 is a person who can demonstrate the design, plan, architecture and management principles of an IBM cloud computing infrastructure. They can do this with limited assistance from support, documentation or relevant subject matter experts.

CCC Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA)

This course is designed for technology professionals who architect the technology solutions that support the changing requirements due to adoption of cloud computing, and help organizations leverage the opportunities that cloud is creating. Solution Architects need to understand the impact that cloud is having on business and information architecture, application design, data management, and security architecture—and be very familiar with the topology and eco-systems that are being created as a result of increasing adoption of cloud technologies and operating models.
